Die Linie ist die Angelschnur, an der ich mich durch meine Bilder "entlanghangele" - mal kraftvoll expressiv, mal zittrig suchend.

Sie führt mich oft hinein ins Bild und auch heraus.

I see the line like a fishing line at which I lurch along through my paintings - sometimes powerful expressive, sometimes trembling in search.

The line often leads me in and outside the picture.
